Only the world's greatest beer — Red Stripe — could have staged the type of session that Dubwise Jamaica turned out to be. Packed to capacity, the Reggae Month event held Saturday, February 10 at 10a West King's House Road in Kingston, the reggae capital of the world, paid homage to the great selector David Rodigan's 40th anniversary tour. Of course, Rodigan — the witty Englishman who can speak fluent “Jamaican” — was on turntable duty. So too were the legendary King Jammys and Yaadcore, and OBSERVER PHOTOGRAPHER KARL MCLARTY had no shortage of frames. Seeelecta!
