IT is a very scary place to be in a relationship – the decision to give your all to a man and hope he won't fail you. Almost every woman dreams of the day her dream guy will ask for her hand in marriage, but how much is too much to give while you wait?
Should a woman give 'husband privileges' to a man she's only dating in hopes that he will see her worth and commit? Or will he, having got the milk for free, hesitate about buying the cow?
Below are three things you should avoid giving to a guy you're dating when there is no talk of marriage on the table.
1. Domestic privileges
Avoid giving this service to someone you are unsure about or who promises you nothing but sex. Taking care of a home should be a privilege enjoyed by your husband – a man who will honour that contribution. You are not a maid or a slave so avoid doing this for just about anyone.
2. Deep intimacy
Sex should be fun, but giving your all to a man who has no intentions of making you his wife is unwise. Those bedroom tricks should be reserved for the man you desire to spend the rest of your life with.
3. Your money
You will definitely live to regret this. Some women, out of desperation or fear of being single, enable male leeches, basically handing over access to their finances in an effort to keep the men happy. But your money should be used to develop your legally binding union and not to finance some idle man's fantasies.
