Cooking for children

A s she has done for the past seven years, chef, caterer, and event manager Jennifer Esty Davis has carried on the legacy of the late Dr Heather Little-White by continuing to offer Cooking for Children, a three-week summer programme to help children learn how to prepare some of their favourite meals. This year, she hosted over 200 students from age six-11 at Portmore Missionary Prep in St Catherine. On the menu were cookies, hotdogs, burgers, chicken nuggets, French fries, smoothies, chicken alfredo, fried rice, and lasagna. Here are some of completed dishes.
