Dear Editor,

The atrocities that the Israeli Government continue perpetrating on rock-throwing Palestinian goes on unabated and the world has largely remained silent.

Last week, within 24 hours, 58 Palestinians were reportedly killed in exchanges with Israel's security forces. Thousands more suffer from permanent injuries, many from gunshot wounds.

In the eyes of present-day United States of America, Israel can do no wrong. As I see it, under Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu, peace between Israel and the Palestinians will never be realised. That Government continues to allow land-grabbing and evicting Palestinians from their land. Israel's security must be ensured, but the present Government, led by this warring mentality, is creating more enemies for Israel.

Bottom line, Jews/Jewish influence have world governments by the seat of their pants so they play dumb in public, not calling a spade a spade, but will lambaste the action of Israel in private.

Our local media just fall in line and will not publish criticism of these activities by the Government in Israel.

Who will stand up for the Palestinians?
