Davin Michael Stedman and Anthony Red Rose have joined forces on their latest single Free Your Mind.

The single boasts the influence of the dancehall legends Sly & Robbie as well as Lenky Marsden.

“If you fuse a good song with a great message with a rhythm section as powerful as Sly and Robbie, you can almost see the ripples in time,” said Stedman.

Released earlier this year, the track is produced by Anthony Red Rose, while Bluejay Hankins and Sick Donkey are credited as executive producers.

F ree Your Mind is the first single from Davin Michael Stedman and The Staxx Brothers band's upcoming debut album West Indian Rock. That project has a 2019 release date.

Singer Anthony Red Rose is pleased to be part of the project.

This isn't just another dancehall song! It is fresh, it is new and it is exactly what the music has been missing,” he said.

Free Your Mind has an accompaning music video which was shot in Washington and Kingston. It was directed by Garrett Gibbons in partnership with film-maker Rodney Roys.
