The pre-Independence staging of Yesterday: Best of the 90s, was a huge success.

Promoted by GLK Entertainment, the event was held at the Mas Camp in St Andrew on Saturday, August 4.

It featured the musical stylings of DJs Nicco, Sanjay, and Marvin.

The dancing was to dancehall and reggae hits of the 1990s as patrons were escorted down memory lane.

Co-promoter Gyete Ghartey was pleased with the evening's turn of events.

“It was great. The DJs played exceptionally well and patrons had a good time,” said Ghartey. “The dancing songs segment saw everybody dancing up a storm. That, for me was the highlight of the night.”

Patrons enjoyed cue specials all night courtesy of Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum.

The next staging of Yesterday is scheduled for October 27 at the same venue.
