Burnt bodies of two men found in St Thomas

ST THOMAS, Jamaica — The police are reporting that the burnt bodies of two men were found in Woodbourne, St Thomas yesterday.

According to reports, about 3:35pm residents stumbled upon the bodies that were in a state of decomposition, in a deeply vegetated area of the community.

The police were summoned and the responding officers reported that upon inspection, they noticed gunshot wounds to the bodies.

The identities of the two men have not yet been confirmed.

One of the bodies is of dark complexion, stout built and about 5 feet 10 inches long. The other is of dark complexion, medium built and is 5 feet 8 inches long.

The police said investigations are ongoing.
