KINGSTON, Jamaica — Prime Minister Andrew Holness says he is very concerned about the wage negotiations between the Government and the Police Federation.

Holness was addressing Labourites at the Jamaica Labour Party's (JLP) 75th Annual Conference now progressing at the National Arena in Kingston.

The prime minister urged the Minister of Finance and the Public Service, Dr Nigel Clarke to bring the matter to a close so that members of the police force can work more efficiently and citizens can have more trust in them.

In the meanwhile, Holness assured Labourites that there are more 'good' men and women in the police force than 'bad' ones. However, he noted that it is the 'bad apples' that demean the reputation of the force.
