No disruption in services at Kingston Wharves, says CEO

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Kingston Wharves is advising the public that there have been no disruptions in its service delivery as normal operations continue at their facilities.

Commenting on the current situation facing the Kingston Freeport Terminal, Kingston Wharves CEO, Grantley Stephenson, said whilst he is not fully apprised of the cause of the current challenges being faced by the terminal operator, he understands the gravity of the situation, particularly the impact on the productive economy.

“The efficiency of movement, of imports and exports, through the ports is vital for all parties involved. To this end, we stand ready to lend our support and resources where available to ensure that normality returns to the sector,” Stephens further stated.
