A man, who was jointly charged with murder, was shot dead at the supermarket where he works by an unknown assailant in the full view of shoppers and staff members this morning. Full story here

4. Former constable charged with corruption

A former police constable was yesterday arrested and charged with breaches of the Corruption Prevention Act after he reportedly collected $2,000 from a motorist to avoid prosecution for outstanding traffic tickets. Full story here

5. Policeman imprisoned for ganja possession

An inspector of police was imprisoned for possession of ganja when he appeared before the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on August 10. Full story here

6. Police capture St James man wanted in US for lottery scamming

A 28-year-old man from Greenwood, St James, who was wanted in the United States of America for over 60 counts of mail fraud among other offences, was arrested on a warrant of extradition in Deeside, Trelawny yesterday. Full story here

7. San Antonio FC signs Reggae Boy Gordon

San Antonio FC (SAFC) on Thursday announced that the club signed Jamaican midfielder Owayne “Omar” Gordon on loan for the rest of the 2017 United Soccer League season. Full story here

8. Cash offer to make Grace Mugabe assault case 'go away'

The 20-year-old South African model who Zimbabwe's first lady Grace Mugabe is alleged to have assaulted, was offered cash to make potential charges "go away", a lawyer said Thursday. Full story here

9. Triple tropical threat looms in the Caribbean

The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based AccuWeather News Service says two of three budding tropical systems in the Atlantic will approach the Caribbean, Central America and the United States in the coming days. Full story here

10. Motorcyclists killed in collision with each other
