KINGSTON, Jamaica—Mark Neita, the agent of Jamaica and West Indies cricketer Oshane Thomas, says the player is "at home resting" after he was involved in a motor vehicle collision on Highway 2000 late Sunday.

Neita said the 22-year-old fast bowler escaped serious injury after the Audi motorcar he was driving overturned during the crash. He was said to have been the sole passenger in that vehicle.

Thomas was taken to the Spanish Town Hospital for treatment and scans before he was released.

The condition of the male driver of the other car involved in the crash could not be confirmed. OBSERVER ONLINE has learnt he was taken to the University Hospital of the West Indies.
