Police seek suspected motor vehicle fraudster

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) has released the photograph of a man from Portmore in St Catherine who was listed as wanted for numerous counts of fraudulent conversion.

He is 35-year-old Kirk Baker whose last known addresses are 2 East, Greater Portmore, St Catherine and Wilkinson Drive, Patrick City, Kingston 20.

According to reports from the police's Corporate Communications Unit it is alleged that Baker entered into agreements with prospective clients to supply motor vehicles and reportedly collected large sums of money but never delivered the vehicles.

Detectives are appealing to anyone knowing Baker's whereabouts to contact the CIB at 929-9256, Fraud Squad at 948-5983, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
