Subtropical Storm Andrea expected to weaken

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological Service of Jamaica says at 5:00 am, the centre of Subtropical Storm Andrea was located near latitude 30.0 North, longitude 69.0 West or approximately 475km west-southwest of Bermuda.
The Met Service, in a statement this morning, said the storm is moving toward the north near 9km/h and this general motion is expected to continue this morning. A turn toward the northeast is forecast by this afternoon. It said Andrea is expected to remain southwest and south of Bermuda during the next day or two.
Maximum sustained winds are near 65km/h with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast today, followed by a weakening late tonight.
Andrea is expected to dissipate on Wednesday.
Sub-Tropical Storm Andrea is not a threat to Jamaica.
The Meteorological Service will continue to monitor this system.
