Wednesday, July 11, 2018

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad — Defending champions Trinidad & Tobago (T&T) will be going after their second win Thursday, when the WINDIES Under-17 Championship continues at home.

Following a comprehensive 154-runs victory in the opening match against Barbados, the team said its confident going into the match against Jamaica.

That match will be at the National Cricket Centre (NCC) in Couva where Jamaica will try to recover from the one-wicket close encounter with the Leeward Islands in Round One.

At Gilbert Park, the Windward Islands who made a brave showing with the bat in the opening round against Guyana, will be coming up against Barbados. The Barbadians will be down in confidence after the huge defeat against T&T but Windwards will still have their hands full as they will be looking to register their first win.

Guyana and the Leeward Islands will do battle at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy. Guyana were shocked after their loss to the Leewards and will be hoping to overcome going after their first win.

All matches get underway at 9:30am
