Three men charged for armed robbery in St Andrew

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The police are reporting that three men were arrested and charged following the armed robbery of a man on Henley Avenue in Kingston 11 on Thursday, September 12.

Arrested are 28-year-old Dave Lewis, 20-year-old Isiha Ennis and 26-year-old Kemar White, all of Kingston 11 addresses.

According to the police's Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) the men were charged on Monday with robbery with aggravation as well as illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.

Previous reports from the Hunts Bay police were that about 7:00 pm, the complainant was among a group of men when three men, armed with guns, approached him. It is alleged that the men, who the complainant was in the company of, as well as those who approached them, proceeded to assault and rob the complainant.

The men robbed the complainant of a cellular phone and important documents before they escaped, the CCU said.
