ST ANDREW, Jamaica — A man was shot dead and two others left nursing gunshot wounds after they were pounced on by armed men along Chancery Street, Kingston 19, yesterday.

Dead is 19-year-old Damarni Johnson, a tiler of Blackwood Terrace, in the parish.

Reports from the police's Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) are that about 1:00 pm, the three men were sitting at a stall on Chancery Street when a motor car with men aboard allegedly drove up and the men opened gunfire hitting the three men.

All three were rushed to hospital where Johnson was pronounced dead and the other two men were admitted in stable condition.
