Weather Update: Cold front across Cuba expected to bring showers to the island

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica is reporting that a cold front that is now across southern Cuba is expected to bring increased rainfall across Jamaica starting late this afternoon through to Friday.

The island should expect periods of showers which may be heavy at times, with possible thunderstorms mainly across northern parishes and inland areas of other parishes.

A breakdown of the local forecast shows that isolated showers are expected across sections of northern parishes this morning, while elsewhere should be partly cloudy.
