Key strategies for crime fight

Dear Editor,

Here are some concrete suggestions that can be done in order for us to get a 'handle-hold' on crime, instead of holding the blade for so darn long:

• upgrade the police force and weed out corruption

• make sure the police have sufficient resources (motor vehicles, etc)

• make it safe to give evidence in court and to report crime

• reintroduce capital punishment

• continue the public states of emergency and curfews as necessary

• flood crime-prone areas and town centres with surveillance cameras.

These are my key strategies for tackling and defeating the crime monster.
