Where are the carols?

Dear Editor,

Christmas has lost its value, meaning, purpose and good reputation.

Even the good muisc of Christmas seems to have taken a hit. No longer do you hear the happy Christmas carols: Ding dong merrily on high, Good King Wenceslas, Once in Royal David's City, and more glorious ones. It seems like everything that's good is coming to an end. It's really true that good things don't last forever.

Only a few radio stations play Christmas music to a certain extent during the Christmas season; and when they do, it's far from fitting into the good, traditional Christmas.

The more happy Christmas songs we play, it's the more we will feel the spirit of Christmas. On the other hand, the more reggae music or dancehall music we play we just kill the real meaning and purpose of Christmas.

And even though we talk so many times about the death of the good Christmas music no one seems to care; they just continue to mash down the spirit and feelings of Christmas with irrelevant music that does not fit for the season.
