Holland United edge Harmony to lift TFA Under-18 crown

FALMOUTH, Trelawny — Holland United completed a perfect season on Saturday, when they beat Harmony FC 1-0 in the final of the Trelawny Football Association's Under-18 competition at Elleston Wakeland Centre in Falmouth.

Dennis Lee's second half goal gave Holland United the win as they ended Harmony FC's unbeaten run to the final and took home the championships trophy and $50,000 first prize.

Lee who scored the game's only goal in the 70th minute was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the final, while Rio Bueno FC's Shemar Walters was the leading scorer with five goals.

Semi-final losers Clark's Town finished in third place, while Rio Bueno FC took fourth.

The teams booked their spots in the decider after 2-0 wins in the semi-finals the previous weekend, Holland United got by Clark's Town, while Harmony FC beat Rio Bueno FC.
