David Noel (third left) president and CEO, Scotia Group and Dr Rafael Echevarne, chief executive officer MBJ Airports Limited (third right) sign the loan agreement for US$40 million (J$5 billion) to facilitate expansion and renovation works for Sangster International Airport. The proposed works include resurfacing taxiways and aprons, extension of the runway and terminals, renovation of the ticketing, bathrooms and departure areas. Funds will also be extended to acquire equipment to clean the rubber from the runway and general improvement of areas to facilitate international safety rating standards.
