LUCEA, Hanover — Linford Galloway scored twice, including the winner in extra time, to lead Super Star YC to the Hanover Football Association's Island Lux Beach Park/Negril & MP Ian Hayles Western Hanover/CDF Major League, beating Mt Pelier DC 2-1 at Watson Taylor Park in Lucea, on Sunday.

The teams had topped their respective zones after the first round. Mt Pelier DC edged Johnson Town on goal-difference after both finished Zone One on seven points, while Super Star won Zone Two with 10 points, four more than Lucea FC and Esher United.

On Sunday, Galloway opened the scoring in the 49th minute, but three minutes from the end Triston Gardner levelled the scoring for Mt Pelier DC when he converted a penalty kick to end regulation tied at 1-1.

Galloway, who was later declared the MVP, scored the winner four minutes into the first period of extra-time.
