Western Basket Association's Men's Div One tips off Sunday

MONTEGO BAY, St James — The Western Basketball Association's Men's Division One starts on Sunday with three games two to be played in western Jamaica.

Seven teams, including Brown's Town Eagles from St Ann, will take part in the competition that will be played Sundays and Wednesdays and will see the winner being promoted to the Elite League next year.

On Sunday, a Western Select Under-17 team will play Martha Brae Dragons at Herbert Morrison Technical; newcomers Rhodes Hall Panthers from Hanover will take on UWI-WJC Jayhawks at Rhodes Hall, both games are set to start at 3:30pm.

MoBay Gladiators will be away to face Brown's Town at Buckfield Oval in St Ann.

Knibb Thunder are the other team in the competition.
