Mama is the latest single from singer Million. It pays homage to his mother Leahnora Scott.

The track, which was produced by Stereophonic Music Group, was released on all major digital platforms in May.

“I did this song for my mother because she's a great mother and I wanted to pay my respects to her and all the other wonderful mothers in the world through music,” Million told the Jamaica Observer's weekly Splash.

Million, who hails from the parish of St Elizabeth, is confident that the song will do well, based on its message and lyrical content.

“I believe that the song will resonate with music lovers all over the world because of its message. Everyone has a mother, and without our mothers, we could not be here,” he reasoned.

Million, whose given name is Byron Scott, is in the studio working on several new projects.

“I'm recording some new songs because I plan to release a few more singles before the end of the year. I'm also working on an album that I plan to drop early next year,” he added.
