Five different horses, five different owners, five different trainers, and five different jockeys are set to do battle in the Prime Minister's Stakes (10 furlongs) tomorrow at Caymanas Park.

One of the longest-running races on the calendar, this year's edition loses none of its venom because of the small field.

The Supreme Racing Guide assesses the five runners in post-position order.

SUPERLUMINAL: (6-b-h Natural SelectionThousand Hills) — Had a change of fortune on last when he broke a lean spell by winning two levels down in Overnight Allowance. Superluminal, despite the quick upgrade, is still in with a good chance as he is tough and resilient and loves the journey. Cannot be left out.

PERFECT NEIGHBOUR: (8-dkb-g ( Natural SelectionDesperatehousewife) – Scored his second win this year on August 15. Perfect Neighbour is defying the odds as at eight years, he is still performing well and his return to the top grade was inevitable. Gets a break in the weights and with the apprentice possibly slipping even more, Perfect Neighbour will be coming at them in the straight. Strong and a true performer, Perfect Neighbour is going to fight this one out.

WILL IN CHARGE: (5-ch-h Adore The Gold Gem Lea) — Three starts, two wins thus far this season. Will In Charge is the defending champion and is the one who allows the weight. Beaten on last (9 furlongs) by Houdini's Magic, but based on his history he is much more at home over two turns. Will In Charge has prepared well and despite the top weight should be better than the rest.

MARVELLOUS MARVA: (5-gr-m Adore The Gold Runaway Julie) — The only filly in the race who needed stronger and better handling in her last effort when finishing third (1 lengths) behind Uncle Frank and Radical. Marvellous Marva is at home in these longer races and with Oneil Mullings in the saddle should give a better performance, but beating these is difficult.

HOUDINI'S MAGIC: (6-dkb-h Performing Magic Milestone) — Won handsomely on June 30 (9 furlongs) when putting away the likes of Bigdaddykool and She's A Maneater. Then was way behind going seven furlongs as She's A Maneater returned the favour. Houdini's Magic is sometimes difficult to assess, but come tomorrow, if allowed to lead unattended, then his chances are that much more. Can strike at any time.
