Lewis, Mamdeen cautioned; Hewitt fined

The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, 8 Winchester Road, Kingston 10, on Tuesday, October 8, 2019.

Jockey Reyan Lewis, who rode Bastusrol in the ninth race on Saturday, August 31, 2019, was cautioned for the interference caused to Ali leaving the 300-metre point.

Jockey Roger Hewitt, who rode Awesome Glitter in the eighth race on Saturday, September 21, 2019, was fined $6,000 for the intimidation and interference caused to Hecandance leaving the 400-metre point.

Jockey Christopher Mamdeen, who rode Atlantic Blue in the eighth race on Saturday, September 14, 2019, was cautioned for the intimidation and interference caused to K J Express leaving the 200-metre point that resulted in the disqualification of Atlantic Blue.
