RACE  1-$250-210,000 CLAIMING DIV I (3YOS&UP) 1000METRES/5FURLONGS STRAIGHT

Super Glitterman broke sharply and shared the lead with Sweet Destiny 200 metres out. Union Four emerged as a big threat close home but Super Gltterman had the momentum to last but only by a nose with Sweet Destiny three-parts of a length further back in the driving finish.

RACE  2-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE III (5YOS&UP/NW3) 1000METRES/5FURLONGS STRAIGHT

Zi Beast led Rockdale on the bridle for 900 metres but Balazo, who was held up behind the front-runners, quickened nicely in the last 50 metres to beat the long-time leader by just over a length.

RACE 3-MAIDEN CONDITION (FOUR-YEAR-OLDS) 1200METRES/6FURLONGS

Sacrifice led early in a bid to make all and was joined by Anaso who drifted into his path 300 metres out. Taken off the far rails, Sacrifice rallied to be second three lengths behind the fortunate Anaso who earlier had also made life difficult for Blusie 800 metres out but still able to survive the Stewards Inquiry.

RACE 4-MAIDEN CONDITION (THREE-YEAR-OLDS) 1100METRES/5 1/2FURLONGS

Father Patrick the long odds-favourite based on exercise reports justified his status in no uncertain manner by going clear early and beating off the promising effort of Extruder, also making his debut, by five lengths.

RACE 5-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE II (THREE-YEAR-OLD/NW2) 1400METRES/7FURLONGS

Custer returning from a six-month lay-off was slowly into stride but soon led pursued by Supreme Soul. Clearly failing to see out the trip, Custer was easily overtaken in the upper straight by Supreme Soul who won by over eight lengths to confirm his promise as an aspirant likely to play a major role in this year's Futurities.

RACE 6-$180,000 CLAIMING (4-YEAR-OLD&UPWARDS) 1500METRES/7 1/2FURLONGS

Prominent early in chase of Piano Man and No Money Friend, Jamaican Citizen assumed the advantage over 1000 metres out and kept increasing her advantage to win by all of 14 and a half lengths.

RACE 7-$1,000,000-850,000 (3-YEAR-OLDS&UPWARDS) 1300METRES/6 1/2FURLONGS

Polly B, pursued by Rambunctious Links, led unconvincingly to the top of the stretch before dropping back tamely. My Sister, always going well in fourth, challenged Rambunctious Links successfully to score by just over a length from early back marker Armageddon.

RACE 8-$250-210,000 CLAIMING DIV II (3YOS&UP) 1000METRES/5FURLONGS STRAIGHT

Sharp Skirt raced prominently just off the leaders Kimberly Gold, Bullet Raj and Dr Banner before hitting the front inside the last 100 metres and keeping on well enough to secure victory by half a length.

RACE 9-ST CATHERINE CUP/OPEN ALLOWANCE (3YOS&UP) 1100METRES/5 1/2FURLONGS

Nuclear Flight led with Another Bullet going in serious chase from the top of the home stretch with these two clear of the rest. The leader battled well but Another Bullet under the strongest of handling wore her down for the victory by a length and a half.

RACE 10-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE V (4-YEAR-OLDS&UP/NW2) 1200METRES/6FURLONGS

In hotly contested early fractions, Best Advice was well ridden as the rider allowed her to pace around rivals to lead with 700 metres to run. On turning for home, she was sent into a significant lead. Although tiring visibly inside the last 100 metres Best Advice's momentum was sufficient to deny fast-finishing favourite District Attorney by a head with the well-built Hot Ice, wide throughout, three parts of a length further back in third.
