Aldebaran and He'sthereal Links disputed the lead until the latter took over 700 metres out. Staying on strongly in the homestretch run, He'sthereal Links was four and a half lengths better than The Salesman who, from off the pace was easily the best of the rest with the tired Aldebaran hanging on for third at the finish.

RACE 2-MAIDEN CONDITION (THREE-YEAR-OLDS) 1600METRES/8FURLONGS

Stallwalkin' Gir l was allowed to make the running with Cohete Del Exito tracking easily on the bridle with Hot Ice close enough for the first 500 metres . Cohete Del Exito went to the front easily as Genuine Friend moved into contention along with Dare to Speak. Once asked to increase her pace, Cohete Del Exito went clear approaching the distance and won by nine lengths from Dare To Speak.

RACE 3-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE V (FIVE-YEAR-OLDS&UPWARDS/NW2) 1400METRES/7FURLONGS

Lola Grey was the first to show but allowed Mrs Awesome t o set the fractions to the 700-metres mark before taking back the lead to turn for home on top from the now prominent Silver Surf. Coming inside the final 200 metres, Lola Grey came under pressure from Seriousmanipulator's strong stretch run. Headed 100 metres out Lola Grey battled well to regain the lead but Seriousmanipulato r, no less game, also rallied and at the line the photo-finish technology revealed a rare dead heat for first.

RACE 4-$350-300,000 CLAIMING (3YOS&UPWARDS) 1100METRES/5 1/2FURLONGS

Gaga Lady and Pandora's Box were first into the gallop with Prince Sammo close up. With 800 metres to come Prince Sammo took the lead with My Angel Brianna moving quickly to dispute it. Racing together out of the final bend it was Prince Sammo who went clear in the upper stretch and established a decisive lead over My Angel Brianna. Prince Sammo sprinted well inside the last 200 metres to ensure that Buckaluck's final surge was a length and a quarter late.

RACE 5-$180,000 CLAIMING (THREE-YEAR-OLDS&UPWARDS) 1500METRES/7 1/2FURLONGS

Stormonthesea and Cosequin ran to the 800-metre mark together before giving way to Stan Roy who turned for home with a significant lead. Chief Secretariat, held up down the backstretch, made steady headway to catch Stan Roy entering the last 200 metres and outstayed him to win by five lengths.

RACE 6-MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHT (TWO-YEAR-OLDS) 1400METRES/7FURLONGS

Don Julio and Fighting Valbee battled for the lead to the top of the stretch. Riddim Up and Braeton Gigolo raced together down the backstretch with the former making the first move. With 250 metres to come Riddim Up a ssumed the lead under left-hand whipping and swerved right causing interference to Braeton Gigolo who had multiple prior difficulties in securing a clear run. Riddim Up was in front by just over a length from Braeton Gigolo at the line but the positions were reversed following a Steward's Inquiry.

RACE 7-MAIDEN CONDITION (FOUR-YEAR-OLDS&UPWARDS) 1200METRES/6FURLONGS

Born To Live made the running pressed by Mavoureen with General Mubaraak and Shauna Cruise taking over in the final part of the bend. Shauna Cruise finished stronger to get the better of General Mubaraak by over four lengths.

RACE 8-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE (THREE-YEAR-OLDS/NW2) 1820 METRES/9FURLONGS&25YARDS

Empress Nicole went into clear lead until overtaken by Dyna's Pride 700 metres out with Fearless Treblav and Ricky Ricardo moving into contention. In the stretch drive Dyna's Pride could not defend her lead and Daddy's Dilemma from off the pace stayed on strongly to better Ricky Ricardo by a hard-fought neck.

RACE 9-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE V (FOUR-YEAR-OLDS&UPWARDS) 1000METRES/5FURLONGS ROUND

Unexpected, appreciating the reduction in distance went to the front leaving the 800-metre mark and established a clear lead which was still over five lengths ahead of runner-up Twilight Eruption with Forest Rose just under two lengths further back in third.

RACE 10-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE II (THREE-YEAR-OLDFILLIES/NW2) 1000METRES/5FURLONGS STRAIGHT

Being away from last January did not pose a serious challenge for Fashionista as she made all the running to beat a fairly strong field. Favourite Reckless Sergeant ran very well but it was a vain attempt to get on terms with the all-the-way winner with outsider Queen's Highway getting by tired pursuers to be only a length further back in third.
