HOLLAND, Trelawny — Holland High confirmed their place in the final of the ISSA Western Conference girls' open basketball competition on Thursday, after beating Montego Bay High 31-12 in their rescheduled game at Holland.

The win takes Holland High joint top with Mt Alvernia High, who they will meet in Wednesday's final. Both teams are on 12 points each, but with a game in hand.

Holland High will top the points table on Monday by just showing up for their final game of the regular season against Muschett High.

Also on Thursday, Muschett High scored a rare win, beating William Knibb Memorial 18-16 despite being outscored 13-10 over the two final quarters.

Holland High's Zhane Lawrence scored 11 points to lead all scorers, as they held the St James team to just three points in their first three quarters.

Holland High led 8-0, 16-1 and 21-3 at the three intervals as Shanniel Johnson also scored six points and had seven steals for the winners, while Bryanna Coleman scored 10 points and had six rebounds for Montego Bay High.
