Salut!, the over-the-top, glamorous affair hosted by the Jamaica Observer, allows the country's leading wine and spirits purveyors the opportunity to introduce their Christmas and New Year pours. The décor theme decided on this year with Tai Flora Luxe was an evening of romance in a vineyard setting.

Guests on arrival at the W, Spanish Court Hotel, helped themselves to Antigal 1 Uno Sauvignon Blanc and or Uno Red courtesy of CPJ before stepping into a veritable wonderland of gold beams framed with cascading greenery, eucalyptus, Spanish moss, running ivy and myrtle greenery draped from opulent gold chandeliers. Opulent rose centrepieces featured shades of pink and coral roses, feathered eucalyptus, pampas grass in white urns, and rectangular wooden boxes with varied shades of roses, blue hydrangeas, cymbidium orchids and silver dollar small bubble bowls with blush pink roses and myrtle greenery created impressive vignettes.

Rum barrels with Spanish moss and wine racks were placed throughout the space to introduce the spirits component of the evening. Pallet ottomans with cushions and coffee tables, cocktail-height farm tables with cross-back stools; white lounge furniture with patterned, coloured cushions and Spanish elm benches added further fill and texture.

Rum barrel cocktail tables with trailing floral centrepieces, seeded eucalyptus, Spanish moss, feather eucalyptus, cocculus greenery and pittosporum further softened the space.

The CPJ fare created by Haleem Card was enjoyed from farm tables.

SO, withought further ado, cheers to another fab season!
