Jamaican members of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) got a chance to celebrate the accounting organisation reaching its 200,000 members' milestone, when a wall with all the member names was displayed at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel in New Kingston on Tuesday. Here are some snapshots from the occasion.

The wall was displayed at the ACCA's Caribbean Annual Meeting for members 2018 — the second occasion on which this event was held, the first being the 2017 inaugural launch in Trinidad and Tobago.

In October 2017, ACCA crossed the 200,000 mark in members around the world. In recognition of this the ACCA created a physical wall which includes the name of every ACCA member. There are currently 200,866 names on the wall which is a snapshot of membership up to 19 October 2017. The wall has been travelling around the world, with stops in Africa and China.

ACCA members who were not at the function may be able to find their names online at 200k.accaglobal.com, where they can also leave a message. They can also follow the wall on Twitter as it travels to member events around the world by searching for #ACCA200k.
