Montego Bay officially welcomed food and entertainment premier brand 100 with a black carpet bang that included a special anointing and a taste of the offerings of the highly anticipated stitch in the growing Friendly City's social tapestry.

The tasteful affair unfolded last week Thursday at Catherine Hall (MegaMart shopping complex) with several notable players in the entertainment and food industry on hand to welcome the new entity.

The opening night allowed patrons to get acquainted with the brand and its offerings; the food fare included oxtail arancini, crab wontons and jerk chicken and pork and might we add, all items were a hit with guests. Live entertainment also featured on the night with performances from comedian Christopher 'Johnny' Daley and recording artistes D'Burnz and Bugle, whose 'anointed' and powerful performance was 100%.

Earlier in the evening Robin Perkins, director of operations at Sizzling Slots Ltd, operators of 100, stated in an address that Montego Bay was the clear choice for expansion of the 100 brand.

“Montego Bay represents the first-ever expansion of 100. When the team deliberated where the next move would be, it was a unanimous decision. Montego Bay is the entertainment mecca of the west and we knew that investing in a new location right here would not only bring economic gains through the employment of individuals but that it would also add value to our evolving and growing tourism product. Additionally, we knew that the people of Montego Bay wanted another option with variety in entertainment and food,” said Perkins.

100 was first opened in Kingston in September 2015 and has since gone on to establish a strong reputation as a premier entertainment destination with themed nights, a chic dining space and constant reinvention attributed to its success formula.

100 Montego Bay will offer a full menu ranging from pizzas to burgers and pastas to steaks, as well signature cocktails. There will also be a weekly schedule of events that will incorporate live entertainment and Jamaican culinary experiences and of course the 160-seat gaming lounge, where gamers will receive complimentary food and drinks.

Gassan Azan, CEO at Sizzling Slots Limited, took time out to thank the team for their hard work in putting together the event, and guests for coming out and supporting. He also went on to add that 100 adds value to the tourism package in Jamaica for both local and international patrons, mentioning also that customer service, coupled with first-class facilities to produce exciting experiences, was the concept behind 100.

With the upcoming roll-out of 100 Reasons and 100 Suite Experiences campaign set to Indulge, Enjoy and Win, we reckon we'll be back for more.
