Kingston practically has a food-themed night for every day of the week. Taco Tuesdays now seem to have a bit of competition with the entry of Endless Pasta Night at the Regency Bar & Lounge at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel.

For $2,000 inclusive of GCT, guests can make repeated trips to the generous antipasto table and have their fill of a rotating variety of pasta, sauces and add-ins. On the night that Thursday Food visited guests could choose from penne, ziti, fusilli and fettuccine. And, yes there was a gluten-free option. Sauce options were marinara, alfredo, bolognese, pesto, vodka rosé sauce and scampi. For proteins, there were chicken and a seafood mixture of fresh shrimp and snapper. Vegetarians had spirals of fresh carrot and zucchini.

The antipasto table really allowed guests to play chef by adding any of the following condiments to their pasta creations — sun-dried tomatoes, roasted garlic, olives, red pepper flakes, fresh basil and parmesan. But wait, there's more! There was also an assortment of grilled and marinated vegetables — mushrooms, eggplant, zucchini, tomatoes and yellow squash; breadsticks and garlic crostini.

The dinner event, which runs weekly on Tuesdays between 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm on the deck of the Regency Bar & Lounge, started on July 10. According to Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel and Regency Bar & Lounge Marketing Manager Matthew Hann, “Patronage has been consistent and we have welcomed a number of repeat guests.” Thursday Food was impressed that just 30 minutes after the pasta stations opened there were, by that time, 24 guests on the deck. This reflects both a strong brand which has a loyal following and terrific product offering.

Although patrons under 19 years of age aren't allowed access to the Regency Bar & Lounge, Terra Nova has families covered. “Families can definitely enjoy Pasta Night, but we serve them on The Terrace,” said Hann.

So if you're a fan of delicious pasta (who isn't?) and looking for a great way to spend a Tuesday evening with work colleagues, friends, a significant other or family, Endless Pasta Night at Regency Bar & Lounge at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel is definitely something to noodle over.
