Prolific Jamaican-born make-up artist Pat McGrath upended the, “safe” approach to patting faces at the recently concluded Milan Fashion Week.

Fast going are the days of sleek, ultra-thin wings, as, taking cues from McGrath's muses, make-up artists, even locally, are trying their hand at this most intriguing take on facial glam.

Smudgy cat eyes; twinkle brows — glitter applied below the arches of models' eyebrows and at the inner corners of the eye; studs; thick kohl eyeliner just below their lower and upper lash lines; along with single slashes across the eyelids, in a kaleidoscopic array, were among the most touted choices. It's all on the eyes!

Plus, there's really no need to stress about falling behind on this developing fashion phenomenon. With the gamut of powders and other make-up essentials from Gabriella's Cosmetics trusty kits, if you're so inclined, you're more than welcome to try these looks at home!

It's summertime, when colours and colour-blocking are primed to reign supreme.

So, relax those brows and prep those eyelids. Under The Dryer's look at summer eyeshadow trends is sure to get all eyes on you.
