IT'S officially summer! Here are four recommendations to lose inches off that midsection fast.

Slim tea

Slimming tea has become the latest diet fad. This is one of the fastest ways to lose weight without exercise or a strict diet. It contains some useful herbs that are very effective for losing excess fat from the body.

Slimming tea regulates the organic balance, fights constipation, and decomposes neutral fat to give you a slim and trim body. Drinking slimming tea on a regular basis speeds up the metabolism to increase the fat-burning rate in the body.

Two of the main ingredients which make slimming tea effective are polyphenol and caffeine. Polyphenol lowers calorie intake and prevents the conversion of carbohydrates and sugars into fat, to reduce fat deposits in the body. With caffeine, it stimulates the central nervous system and releases fat into the bloodstream, so that the body can use the fat as fuel. This process is known as thermogenesis.

Catechins present in slimming tea also help to reduce abdominal fat without influencing the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins or threat of excess triglyceride by activating a certain enzyme in our body which dissolves excess triglycerides. This helps to shed excess fat from the body.

Slimming belts

A slimming belt is a neoprene wrap designed to help you reduce the circumference of your midsection through compression of your fat cells. A slimming belt will compress your fat cells, which can help you look smaller.

However, once you decompress your cells will gradually revert to their normal size and shape. Wearing a body wrap belt underneath your clothing while working out helps to increase sweat production so you lose water weight. If you wrap the slimming belt around your stomach while doing cardiovascular activity, it will help raise your core temperature, producing more sweat as your body tries to cool itself.

Cavitation

Ultrasonic cavitation is a simple, non-surgical procedure that relies on sound waves to flush fat from the body. During an ultrasonic cavitation procedure, fat cells are targeted with low-frequency sound waves. This process heats and vibrates the layer of fat cells below the skin's surface. The pressure eventually causes the fat cells to liquefy and release their contents into the bloodstream. Clients can expect to lose up to two inches per session.

Crunches

Th is is the go-to exercise for great abs and a strong core. Tightening the abdominal muscles will immediately take inches off and help to maintain great posture.

When you build your abdominal muscles, you're practically developing an internal corset that holds your stomach in. When you tighten your core muscles you create more stabilisation for your spine, vertebrae and discs, which in turn can significantly reduce back pain.

Having a strong abdominal wall is very important for optimal body movement, which gets increasingly more important as one ages. Strong abs represent a strong centre of gravity, which means you'll be more stable and balanced. Not only that, but strengthening your abs will allow you to improve your posture by sitting straighter and standing taller.
